Toronto’s Brick Works
One-hundred thousand people a day drive by the Don Valley Brick Works site. Few of them know it exists. Pity. From 1890 to 1990 its clay quarry and kilns made bricks for Toronto's best known buildings. This is a magical place like no other in the city. Go take a look. See how the designers at Oleson Worland Architects are preserving and reanimating the city's industrial legacy.
