Editor John Knechtel launches volume 10 of his ongoing series "Alphabet City" this Friday night at the Drake and Gladstone Hotels on Queen Street West. The book launch and festival opening begins at 6:00 at the Gladstone moving to the Drake at 8:00 for a keynote address by Mark Kingwell.
What promises to be a great opening party with DJ Chris Alexander starts at 9:00 at the Drake. Admission is free.
An exhibition associated with the launch will open Friday at the Gladstone Hotel, second floor and run until Sunday.
The Alphabet City Festival continues until Sunday's closing party at the Drake. For more information go to the
