Spadina. For the longest time it was the only street I knew in Toronto.

The diverse neighborhoods assemble the heart of Toronto.
If there was one Toronto building which no longer remains that you could visit for an afternoon what would it be?
I would love to watch a hockey game at Maple Leaf Gardens.
What do you consider the most over-hyped place in the city?
Queen Street
What is your most memorable event in Toronto?
The Olympic Island concerts on Olympic Island.

Yonge down to the waterfront. The buildings play a lot of perspective tricks – you are always much further away than you think.

Better subways with stations that existed above ground.

A wind tunnel.
What’s your most treasured place in the city?
On McCaul St. there is an old black bus shelter-like structure with posters all over it. It is very rectangular and is like a black obelisk from 2001:Space Odyssey.
Where would you most like to live in Toronto?
If I could empty everyone from PATH, I would live there.
What building / place do you most dislike?
The condos by the CN Tower and Skydome. They seem like awful places to live since they are right next to the 401 and Spadina. They also block the views to the CN Tower and Skydome.
What’s your favourite subway station?
Where would you most want to live, if not in Toronto?
Chicago, Vancouver or Scotland… Finland
What should Toronto’s motto be?
Bad architecture is only skin deep.

Ian Mcdonald, Moriyama & Teshima, Teeple, and MSTRKRFT
