IT TAKES A WORLD TO FILL DUNDAS SQUARE WITH POETS

Diaspora Dialogues is a 12-hour poetry reading boasting poets from around the globe.

Come to Dundas Square Sunday, September 3rd for World Jam.

Molly Peacock, George Elliot Clarke, Afua Cooper, Stuart Ross, Teenah Edan, Laila Haidarali, Sheng Xue, Sean Isaac, Amatoritsero Ede, Marlene Goldman and others will each read and perform their works throughout the day and into the evening. A full list of poets and a timetable of readings will be available on http://www.diasporadialogues.com as of August 28, 2006.


“There is such a rich heritage of culture and language in this city that we want to take every opportunity to get these voices out on the stage and into the hearts of its residents,” said Helen Walsh, Executive Director of Diaspora Dialogues.
