good story today on Toronto's investment in its cultural institutions. Drawing a line of influence supporting why culture is a key reason companies stay in the city, the Globe also has a story on
SAS's decision to build its new, energy-efficient home in downtown Toronto.
SAS co-founder Jim Goodnight says that Toronto is “the kind of vibrant city” that author Richard Florida flagged in his 2002 bestseller The Rise of the Creative Class.
Mr. Goodnight said: “Toronto has lots of arts and entertainment, a tolerance for people of all races and diversity. It is a great city to do business in.”
