Indulge yourself in design

Need to quench your thirst for design? The streets of downtown will be buzzing at the interior design show 2006 , toronto's leading forum for residential design. This edition is a can't-miss event featuring international designer Karim Rashid. Rashid returns to the Interior Design Show with the kit 24 house an 1,800 square foot two-level experimental space which will explore a domestic environment and its intersection with technology. Lets not forget to mention toronto's brightest designers and manufacturers of contemporary: furniture, kitchen and bath, lighting, rugs, decorative accessories, services, technology and our very own Canadian artisans. Tune in to Renny Ramakers of Droog Design, the Netherlands's, Torbjorn Anderson, Norway Says, Norway, Jack Lenor Larsen, Jack Lenor Larsen Inc, New York + Alexa Hampton, Mark Hampton Inc, New York among others at the Hugo Boss stage. Be sure to hit this year's show, held Feb 23- 26, at The National Trade Centre at exhibition place .

Work in the industry and interested? Click here to download the 2006 registration form. Submissions must be received by February 10, 2006 before 11:59pm otherwise there is a $20.00 registration fee. Hit the opening night reception on February 23 from 7:00 - 11:00 pm, there is a red-hot party sizzling with stupendous food and the largest wine-tasting event of the year from Wines of France. Local restaurants Doku, Lobby, Ultra Supperclub and Blowfish, among many others, are set to serve up fabulous delicacies. The name of the game: The Rouge Party. Charitable partner is: Habitat For Humanity, an international non-profit organization whose mission is to help people gain access to affordable and sustainable housing. Now that would be a good reason to get down and boogie.
