‘Space of knowledge’
Hop on over to the IDEX/NeoCon Canada trade show September 28-29, 2006 located at the Direct Energy Centre [formerly known as the National Trade Centre, 100 Princes' Blvd.]. Every fall, this little number attracts over 350 exhibitors and manufacturers and 15,000 attendees - interior designers, architects, facility managers, builders and businesses from across Canada and bordering states. Sustainability is the name of the game this year and design is onto it, it is a venue focusing on safer, healthier + energy efficient products | materials. A designer social scene where you can wander through exhibits, learn how the innovative environmental products can be integrated into design and impact a space. 'This year’s show and conference will ensure every attendee finds all the building blocks necessary to create spaces that reflect the best our industry has to offer'. Hit the sustainable condo exhibit, soak up the focus on architecture and facility management, join a multitude of educational seminars|sessions [and gain those ARIDO CEU or OAA points]. Or simply meander through and soak up the lighting, furniture, materials and other feature areas. To boot, there is the annual ARIDO Awards of Excellence to look forward to, an evening gala that honors conscientious design, living and good works. Be there or be square.

The design trade has 2 days left to register for free - before the September 15th cut off.
