Body Worlds in Toronto
imageAs if we needed another reason to be happy to live in Toronto, the Ontario Science Centre launches its Body World 2 exhibit today. Seen by millions of people around the world, the exhibit of plasticized human bodies is the single most compelling scientific experience since Darwin's visit to the Galapagos Islands (my apologies to any "Intelligent Design" believers in the audience). This exhibit is produced by the doctor who invented the plastination technique, Gunther von Hagens. That's important because of reports about similar exhibits not produced by von Hagens being, shall we say, less than satisfying visitor experiences. The exhibit runs until February 26th.
